Happening Now! Governor Fayose Joins Biafra's Nnamdi Kanu At Abuja Court (See Why)

Ekiti state governor, Ayo Fayose, is currently at the federal high court Abuja to show solidarity for Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

Lere Olayinka, media aide to the governor, disclosed this on Facebook.

“Governor Fayose in court in solidarity with IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu whose trial comes up today before Justice Nyako,” he wrote.

TheCable also confirmed that the governor is at the court. Kanu alongside three other members of IPOB is facing trial for treason.

Binta Nyako, justice of the court where the trial is being held,  is expected to rule on an application for the bail of the accused persons.

She had earlier quashed six of the charges against them, sustaining that of treason.
