A fire incident which occurred this morning has razed down shops belonging to some clothe sellers in Lagos Island, around Broad Street, behind UBA House.
The fire reportedly started at around 2a.m. midnight. While speaking to Premium Times correspondents, some traders said that the fire started from a nearby electricity transformer, and spread into shops.
Some traders who were spotted at the scene, were seen wailing and counting their losses, as passersby commiserated with them.
