Premier League Top Scorer And MFM FC Striker, Stephen Odey Dumped By Danish Club For Using Fake Age

MFM FC striker Stephen Odey, who has been trailed with controversies following his trip to Denmark for the trials with MFM FC officials coming out to say they didn’t permit the striker to travel for the trials, is on his way back in Nigeria following his failed move to join Danish club FC Midtjylland.

Odey, who is currently the highest scoring striker in the 2017 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL), had travelled to Denmark to have a two-match trail with FC Midtjylklland.

For the trials, the striker played two games for FC Midtjylland before a suspected case of age falsification collapsed the deal.

According to Pulse Sports, Midtjylland officials were not impressed when they discovered that the age he declared was different from the one on his passport and other documents.

In the unconfirmed report, Midtylland were not ready to do any business with the striker and called off the deal.

The striker is already on his way to Nigeria via Netherlands aboard a KLM flight.
