According to report by Akwa Ibom Trending, Akwa Ibom State Ministry, Annex, Ikot Ekpene Road (Former AKTC Terminal) has been shut down by host community demanding for financial compensation from the Government for establishment of the Government office in their community without due consultations.

ReplyDeleteWhat level of ignorance exhibited by youths.... Is so obvious this shut down will be done by the youths within that community, most places especially within this south east experience such thing, they youths within this region seem to value money than development which is very bad
ReplyDeletePlaces like Awka Anambra State, one can not set up a building anywhere without paying huge amount to the youths and if not they will come and destroy the improvements done on the land..... To them they are wise enough not knowing that they are heavily discouraging development in that state
