No fewer than three suspected Badoo gang members were allegedly set ablaze by irate mob at Ikorodu axis of Lagos over the weekend.
The suspect was allegedly accused of being in possession of the severed head of an infant.
The state Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Iliyasu, whose convoy was headed to Ogijo for a surveillance, ran into the burnt suspect.
But on sighting the police convoy, the crowd that had gathered at the scene dispersed for fear of being arrested for the mob action.
Policemen on the CP’s convoy immediately disembarked from their vehicles and evacuated the remains of the suspected cultist.
