According to the reports, a Nigerian Muslim lady and photographer identified Wasi was reportedly spat on by a woman.
According to Aamer Rahman, a friend of Wasi, who initially shared the story the unidentified lady spat on Wasi, who was walking along Central London, and muttered "people like you.
He wrote;
Wasi then took to Twitter to confirm the story
“Walking in central London with my friend Wasi – Nigerian, hijabi.
Out of nowhere this woman walked past and spat directly at her face muttering about ‘people like you.
