Femi Falana Attacks Okonjo-Iweala Again, Says Her Salaries Were Paid In Dollars

Human rights lawyer Femi Falana has asked Ngozi Oknjo-Iweala, former minister of finance and and coordinating minister for the economy, to “stop giving the erroneous impression that she rendered selfless service” to Nigeria.

According to the lawyer – who was responding to Okonjo-Iweala’s allegation that he was working for corrupt elements – the ex-minister was unqualified to lay claim to selfless service since her salaries and arrears were paid in dollars espite da judgment of the court of appeal declaring the payment illegal and unconstitutional.
