High Ranking Delegates Sit On The Floor As They Visit Benue Monarch (Photos)

The newly elected Tor Tiv, Orchivirigh Prof. James Ayatse has been criticized following these photos which have been circulating on social media. The Management of Benue Investment and Property Company (BIPC) paid a solidarity visit to the newly elected Tor Tiv, Orchivirigh Prof. James Ayatse at his residence.

The top BIPC management led by the Company's Managing Director, Mr. Jack Mulya and the delegates all sat on the floor while the seats were empty. The team congratulated and pledged their loyalty to the Paramount ruler of the Tiv nation.

Some online users have defended the action -saying the delegates sat on the floor as a sign of respect to the monarch while others have heavily criticized the act -debating that the high ranking delegates could didn't deserve such "humiliation".
