The police in Bauchi State have apprehended a four-man syndicate over the gruesome abduction/murder of blogger and writer, Abdulhakeem Bauchin Bauchi.
This was revealed in a statement by the spokesperson for the Command, SP Haruna Mohammed, who said the suspects – Micheal Sansai, Samuel Uzima, William Yakubu and Dauda Akanni – were nabbed after discreet investigations
Stating that the principal suspect, Michael Sansai, is a member of the Black Axe Confraternity, SP Haruna added that objects recovered from the ring include a mobile phone belonging to the deceased, seven wraps of dry leaves suspected to be Indian hemp, torn clothes of the deceased, a sim card and other incriminating items.
Bauchi Bauchin went missing earlier this month to the consternation of family and friends, only for his mutilated body to turn up several days later at Rugan Jira mountain in Gwallameji Area of Bauchi State. He was due to get wedded in a few weeks.
