According to Abdulraheem Adeshina Abdulganiyu who sent the report he stated that the incident happened on the 31st of March at ojatuntun market Ilorin Kwara state.

Read what he wrote below;

Today first of April 2017 was a very bad day for some market woman and man in ojatuntun market Ilorin Kwara state as over 30 shops set on fire. According to the information I gather, the fire break out around 11:30pm in the evening of 31st March while all the security men try all the positive best to stop the fire before it will get worst than normal. All the transporter around the market try their best to enter the market but the security men refuse to open the market gate for the.

All the positive best tried by the security men was in vain as the fire continue to expand than normal. The problem of shop setting on fire has started in 2015 and since then, it happens every month, only God can say what always cause it.

I think its time for Kwara state government look into the market to examine what causes the problem before everything goes worst.

All the market woman and men will close by 6pm in the evening, you no they can't no what's happening in the market anymore after they have close, they can only no what happen the next day with is today. he continued.
