Two police officers were recently attacked and set ablaze by angry villagers who mistook them for thieves with 1 dying in the incident.
According to eyewitnesses who spoke to TUKO.co.ke, the two officers from Voi Police Station were on a mission to raid a chang’aa den when the incident occurred when irate villagers mistook the for thugs.

Another officer, who was lucky to dodge the fire managed to escape from the irate mob, in a bid to get reinforcement.
But police officers who arrived at the scene moments later revealed that the deceased and his colleague were not in their official police uniform when the conducted the raid
