Arsenal Board Fires Strong Warning To Arsene Wenger After Renewing Contract

Arsene Wenger has been warned by Arsenal’s board to complete his transfer business earlier this summer as the Frenchman prepares to announce a new two-year deal at the club.

The 67-year-old, signed Granit Xhaka and Rob Holding early in the window but waited until the final days to sign Shkodran Mustafi and Lucas Perez.

Despite the club set to announce he’s staying for a further two years this week, Arsenal’s board want Wenger to make changes to his management style and want the Frenchman to avoid a repeat of last summer’s chaotic transfer window.
