Barely 2 weeks after three people died and many were injured when a three-storey building collapsed around the Ilasa area of Lagos, another building under construction has collapsed with many feared dead.
The building, which collapsed during renovation is a 3 storey building situated on Daddy Alaja Street, Oke-Arin, on the Lagos Island, and it occurred in the early hours of Monday, May 2.
Eyewitnesses say many were trapped in the rubble at the time of the collapse as they wait for the intervention of the State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) and the state Fire Service.
