Many Injured After Car Rams Into Pedestrians In New York's Times Square (Photos)

Multiple people have been injured after a car reportedly hit pedestrians in Times Square, New York.

Witnesses have claimed a red sedan deliberately drove at pedestrians, knocking them over in the busy tourist hub. Witnesses said the vehicle drove against traffic and on to the sidewalk, striking pedestrians.

Authorities have still not confirmed details but a witness said at least 10 people were being treated for injuries on the ground after the collision at the tourist site. It has also been claimed at least one person has died. The New York Police Department closed off the area. More photos below;
