Yoruba Descent: Alaafin Visits Benin Republic Obas

Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, The Alaafin Oyo,is on a historic visit to the Republic of Benin, where he will be received by traditional rulers of Yoruba descent as well as their subjects.

There are many Yoruba people in the West African country, with many of them also in Togo, especially Atakpame.

During the weeklong visit, Oba Adeyemi is expected to crown one of the Yoruba obas in Benin Republic.
