Nigeria will be up against the Bafana Bafana of South Africa on June 10 in an African Cup of Nations qualifier in Oyo and the Ramadan fast continues to till then.
During the friendly game against Togo, Rohr allowed Ahmed Musa and Shehu Abdullahi to observe the mandatory Ramadan fast and were substituted after the break.
As the important game against South Africa approaches, Rohr has told the duo not to observe the fast on the day of the match as they are very pivotal to his plans.
According to Own Goal, the players affected have not agreed with Rohr’s demand, with Musa particularly not keen on skipping the fast which forbids them from eating from dusk till dawn.
Other players affected are Abdullahi and Alhassan Ibrahim.
