Former Minister Obanikoro’s Mum Dies At 95 Years

Former Minister for State Defense, Musiliu Obanikoro, on Saturday morning his 95-year-old mother.

According to family sources, the ex-Senator's mum, who is widely referred to as Iya Lati, passed on in the early hours of Saturday, June 3, 2017.

She was said to have been ill for a few weeks before passing on at her residence in Isale-Eko, Lagos.

The former petty trader would be buried at Ikoyi Cemetery, Lagos, in accordance with the dictates of Islam, which she practiced until her demise, her son said.
