Police Reacts To Alleged Collection Of Bribes Using POS Machines

The Nigerian Police Force, NPF, has reacted to a viral video which surfaced online yesterday showing a Policeman allegedly collecting bribe using a POS machine.

In reaction to the viral video which has been making rounds on the internet, the Nigerian Police Force in a statement released on its Facebook page to address the video, the Nigeria Police Force noted that it had once used a handheld machines to verify vehicle registration details.

It wrote;
“Re: VIDEO – “Nigerian police man caught on camera using POS machine to collect bribe. Nigeria Police Force once used handheld machines to verify vehicle registration details. I’m sure we all know Bank requirements on issuance of PoS.

    Police can do anything just to extort money from people anyway

    Even if people start calling the above numbers to identify that they have paid using POS how are we going to know.....?
