Sad! Former NYSC Board Chairman Gordon Bozimo Is Dead

The death has been announced of immediate-past chairman of the Governing Board, National Youth Service Corps, Chief Gordon Bozimo.

Bozimo, who is also a Board of Trustees’ member of the Peoples Democratic Party, died on Monday at Arkansas State Hospital in the United States at the age of 67.

The Delta State-born business mogul had struggled with an undisclosed illness in recent times. A statement signed by the senior son, Preye Bozimo, on Tuesday said burial details would be communicated soon.

Preye said, “…The Chairman/Chief Executive Officer, Bozgomero Nigeria Ltd., Port Harcourt, Chief Gordon Bozimo, passed on after a brief illness yesterday, 5th June, 2017, at the Arkansas State Hospital in the United States at the age of 67.

“Survived by two wives, Megan and Tari, and many children, grandchildren and many relations, Chief Gordon Bozimo hailed from Bayelsa and Delta states. Burial arrangements will be announced by the family soon.”
