See The SS2 Student Who Got Rewarded With N200K For Returning Lost N18k (Photos)

A young soon to be secondary school leaver has been massively rewarded for her honesty after she found a purse filled with money and ATM cards and returned it to the owner.

Recall, in March the 19-year-old SS2 student identified as Omolabake Samson, went viral after she displayed an act of patriotism and honesty by returning a lost purse which contained N18,000 to FCMB Sagamu Branch in Ogun State.

The teenage student was on Thursday heavily rewarded for her honesty with a cheque of N200,000 by the bank. Destiny smiled on her because that same day, the Bank South West Zonal Director, Babatunde Onadeko was around for inspection at the branch that same day.

Onadeko was dazzled by the action of the girl and decided to make her known by asking the Branch Manager to write a letter of commendation for the girl and the letter should be taken to her school the following day to serve as a role model.

The State Chairman of Academic Staff Union of Secondary Schools, Comrade Lasisi Akeem, was around with the State Secretary, Comrade Banjo Joseph Adegbenga to grace the occasion.
The Head Corporate Affairs of FCMB, Diran Olojo, Group Head (Corporate Affairs) FCMB who did the presentation of a dummy cheque of Two Hundred Thousands Naira to the girl stated emphatically that it is rare to still find such a trustworthy girl in our society.

He said anyone that take anything that doesn’t belong to him is called a thief. He further gave the girl a personal cheque to the girl.

Babatunde Onadeko, Zonal Head (South-West2), FCMB, had also narrated the whole event to the students and the people that were present on May 19th at the Banking Hall..
