Workers Stop Production After Company Removed Break & Prayer Time

A Religious Freedom request brought production to a halt Tuesday afternoon at the Tyson Foods plant in Dakota City, Nebraska.

According to Siouxland News, Somali workers launched a protest over their break times, saying their current schedules made prayer difficult.

They also had a complaint over working conditions inside the plant. Mohamed Ahmed a Tyson worker said;
“We used to pray. They gave us 10 minutes to pray. Right now they stopped that. They say you have no pray time anymore. That's why we are protesting. They treat us like animals not human beings."
In a statement to Siouxland News, Tyson management said:
“Work in some production areas of our Dakota City beef plant is temporarily halted while we work through questions from team members about break times. We are actively having discussions and hope for resolution soon."

    Well,,,the owners n management should see to this guys protest or they will experience low production output

    All work and no play............
    Break time during work hours is very essential and should not be denied of workers
