Malaysia Bans Hit Song, Despacito Because Of This

Malaysia has banned the hit song “Despacito” on state radio and television, and branded it “unislamic porn”.

The most streamed song in history will no longer be played on any of the government run media outlets in the country.

Party official Atriza Umar was quoted as saying by The Star newspaper;
“We respect the right to be entertained but there should be clearer guidelines so that the entertainment does not spoil people but makes them better,”
The Spanish-language song its title means “slowly” was released by Puerto Rican artists Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee in January.
The title is said to be a reference to Fonsi’s seduction style.

The original and the remix featuring Bieber together are the most streamed track of all time with more than 4.6 billion plays across streaming platforms.
