198 illegal immigrants who are Nigerians, yesterday, Saturday, July 22, 2017, returned home from Saudi Arabia with the help of the Federal Government.
The Nigerian Government reportedly sponsored their journey back to Kano this weekend following the June 25 amnesty deadline and 30 days extension given.
The Saudi Arabian government had earlier offered illegal immigrants a 90-day amnesty period for them to return back to their countries or face stiffer punishments such as jail terms, fines and deportation.
