Tottenham Deny £1billion Takeover Negotiations With Mark Zuckerberg Backed Company, Iconiq Capital

Tottenham have denied reports which surfaced earlier that they are in £1billion takeover talks with an investment group backed by Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg.

Reports suggest Iconiq Capital have spoken to a number of Silicon Valley buyout firms about making an offer.

But the North London club have dismissed links to Facebook founder Zuckerberg – who is worth a staggering £49bn. A statement read;

“The Board is not in any discussions relating to a takeover offer for the club.”
