Two men who faked to be journalists from Lagos Television (LTV) have been arrested in Ikorodu.
The men had pretended to be LTV news crew with the intention to grant Comrade Olusesan Daini, Chairman of Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA who just assumed office.
They were within the council premises and had already granted two interviews to Councillors Mathew Arowolo and Monsuru Kolejo.
They entered the chairman’s office and he suspected them to be fake. He raised alarm and security operatives arrested the two men.
On search, 8 sim cards, toothpaste and toothbrushes, a list containing the phone numbers and names of top politicians were found on them.
Olusesan spoke to journalists shortly after the men were nabbed, he said they almost tricked him to Ibeshe area of Ikorodu where a family of five was recently killed by dreaded group, Badoo.
