Real Madrid reportedly declined a golden opportunity to bring Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Borussia Dortmund to Santiago Bernabeu this summer.

According to a report by Spanish publication Don Balon, Real Madrid have snubbed the opportunity to sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang this summer.

Zinedine Zidane has publicly stated the need of adding a striker to his squad this summer, after the departure of Alvaro Morata and Mariano Diaz’s.

The French man ‘Karim Benzema’ is now the only recognized striker at his disposal, with Borja Mayoral only likely to be a squad player this season.

Real Madrid boss, expected to take advantage of the urgent need for striker, to table his demands for his long Dortmund chase but the boss revealed he is not interested in signing Aubameyang, having set his sights elsewhere for reinforcements.

Aubameyang is widely regarded as one of the best strikers in the world, with very few attacking players matching his record.

And after enjoying two highly productive campaigns with Dortmund, the player’s stock has skyrocketed, with several top clubs across Europe registering their interest in him.
