An undergraduate of the Imo state university yesterday reportedly collapsed after she was flogged by a lecturer..
According to reports, the lecturer, identified as Prof Egbe Richard from the faculty of social science, allegedly used his belt to flog the student who came for her exams, the lady fainted from the beating.
The 300 level student of Nutrition and Dietetics was later revived by her colleagues, who poured sachets of water on her head.
The lady developed knee injuries from her collapse.
